Peter BurkeToday Peter Burke officially becomes the new head coach of the Norwegian National team until the end of the current ENC competition with an option to renew.

Due to increased work commitments Steve Bates has not being able to commit to the role as previously agreed and the NRF wish him all the best in his work.

Peter will be head of the coaching team for the Norwegian mens XV and will work with Kristina Ruffles to implement the squads plans, Karl Frish and Shelton Davis to implement and report back on strength and conditioning and fitness and Norwegian based talent scouting as well as assistant coaches.

Peter will be mentored by Edinburgh Director of Rugby Michael Bradley and will visit Edinburgh next week as part of the preparation for the up coming ENC games, this is along with the training camp that Peter held in Norway over the last two days and the Swedish match he tock charge off as interm head coach should mean that Norway is well prepared for the next two matches.
