Norwegian VII National managers’ role Print

Norwegian Rugby Union (NRF) Member of International Rugby Board (IRB) - Association Européenne de Rugby (FIRA-AER) Norwegian Olympic Committee and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF) is looking for National Teams managers.

  1. To manage the affairs of the Norwegian women’s VII team and coaches.
  2. To work with the women’s VII national coaching group and the Director of Rugby on theirprogrammes, to achieve Olympic participation, following our 2011-2016 High level Performanceplan
  3. To work with and follow the requirements of the NRF, NIF, OLT and IRB.
  4. To facilitate the running of the VII team, coaches and their plans along with their implementation.
  5. To administer within budget the requirements of programmes, coaches, management and players.
  6. To work with PR, sponsors and funding applications.
  7. To report to the Director of Rugby and to the head of coach and manager appointments.

This is a 2 year voluntary role with expenses covered, with an option to renew to the Olympics in 2016.The candidate should have good interpersonal, entrepreneurial, organisational, administrative and bookkeeping skills. The position can be as remote or hands on as necessary to meet the positions goals.

In the event that the goals and Targets of the 2011-2016 being met, the NRF will put in place financial and administrative support.
